The Parks Department has a multi-dimensional role: to provide and maintain park facilities, to develop and supervise recreational activities, to maintain the Town’s beaches, to supervise the operation of all marinas and boat launching ramps, and to operate an 18-hole nationally recognized golf course. This department also oversees the Tree Preservation Bureau, which regulates the removal of trees from private property.
