In its 57th season, this highly coveted youth summer camp is open to children ages 4-12 for six weeks and is hosted at one of our six award-winning community parks.

Camp schedule (6 Weeks):

 

  • Begins: Tuesday, July 5th
  • Last day: Friday, August 12th

Now featuring full day options so parents can choose the program that best fits their child’s needs. Our full day programs are offered at three locations:  Syosset-Woodbury Community Park, Marjorie R. Post Community Park, and Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park.  Our full day programs include all of our coveted special activities and optional day trips as well as new hours, swimming, and supervised lunch.

 

 

Registration will be done in person only:

 

  • Monday, March 28th, 2022– Syosset Woodbury Community Park Community Center (7500 Jericho Tpke, Syosset NY 11791)
  • Tuesday, March 29th, 2022– Hicksville Athletic Center (167 S. Broadway, Hicksville NY 11801)
  • Wednesday March 30th, 2022– Glen Head Community Center (200 Glen Head Road, Glen Head NY 11545)
  • Monday, April 4th, 2022– Marjorie R. Post Community Park Community Center (Unqua Rd, Massapequa NY 11758)
  • Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 – Hicksville Athletic Center (167 S. Broadway, Hicksville NY 11801)
  • Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 – Ellsworth W. Allen Park Community Center (45 Motor Pkwy, Farmingdale NY 11735)

There will be a maximum capacity for each location:

 

  • Full Day Programs:
    • Plainview Old Bethpage Park- 200 participants
    • Marjorie R. Post- 500 participants
    • Syosset Woodbury Park- 500 participants

 

  • Traditional Programs:
    • Allen Park- 300 participants
    • Roosevelt- 300 participants
    • Tappen Beach- 300 participants

Refund Policies

 

  • Refunds will be given at a 10% administrative fee up until Friday, July 15th, 2022.

  • Camp runs 9:15 AM- 11:45 AM and 12:45- 3:00 PM
  • Children must be picked up for lunch hour by parent/guardian
  • $500 for one child
  • $400 for each additional child

THEODORE ROOSEVELT MEMORIAL

PARK & BEACH, OYSTER BAY

 

  • Camp runs 9:15 AM- 11:45 AM and 12:45- 3:00 PM
  • Children must be picked up for lunch hour by parent/guardian
  • $500 for one child
  • $400 for each additional child

HARRY TAPPEN BEACH & PARK

GLENWOOD LANDING

 

  • Camp runs 9:15 AM- 11:45 AM and 12:45- 3:00 PM
  • Children must be picked up for lunch hour by parent/guardian
  • $500 for one child
  • $400 for each additional child

Including Special Activities such as:

-Food Days

-Optional Day Trips

-In-Park events

        -Library time

        -Islanders Fan Fest

        -TOBAY Games (compete in various field games at your location)

        -TOBAY Games – Supervisor’s Championships (held on Wednesday, August 4th at 6PM at Ellsworth W. Allen Park)

        -Teddy Bear Clinic hosted by Northwell Health (teaching children emergency first aid using stuff animals)

        -Carnival Day

 

Rain Policy:

If raining prior to the start of camp day, camp will be cancelled for the AM session.  Weather permitting, camp will resume for the afternoon pending notification by email, social media post, and The Remind Text app.  If rain begins during camp session, weather forecast will be evaluated and you may be asked to pick up your child if conditions are not to improve.

 

**Full day campers (Marjorie Post Park, Plainview Old Bethpage and Syosset Woodbury Park) must provide a current physical, immunization form, birth certificate, and proof of residency.  In addition, full day campers will be required to participate in a swim evaluation in order to utilize pool facilities.**
