Further demonstrating a commitment to increasing transparency, Supervisor Joseph Saladino and the Town Board announced that a special meeting to hear applications for new concession services at TOBAY Beach will take place on Thursday, March 21st, beginning at 10 a.m. at Oyster Bay Town Hall.
“The Town Board will publicly hear presentations submitted in response to a request for proposals for the operation of food and beverage concessions at TOBAY Beach,” Supervisor Saladino stated. “As with all our regular Town Board meetings, the presentations will be live-streamed through the Town’s website.”
Presentations will take place as part of a work session, which the Board will enter into at the start of the 10 a.m. meeting. During that time, interested applicants will present their proposals for concessions at TOBAY and answer questions from the Town Board. Councilmembers will utilize a scoring sheet to assist in making their selections based on evaluation criteria that includes the applicant’s overall capabilities, experience, organizational ability, financial capability, and fee and price structure.
“My administration has repeatedly demonstrated its commitment to transparency in the Town of Oyster Bay, and we continue to deliver those promises to our residents,” added Saladino.
