Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Michele Johnson announces that registration for the Town’s Summer Recreation Program, open to children ages 4-12, is now underway. This year’s program once again includes a full-day option at two locations: Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa and Syosset-Woodbury Community Park, where campers can stay on site through the lunch hour. Those not interested in the new full-day option can still attend one of the Town’s traditional Summer Recreation Programs, located at Ellsworth Allen Park in Farmingdale, Harry Tappen Beach in Glen Head, Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay and Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park.
“The Town’s Summer Recreation Program features great activities for children, including arts and craft, various games, themed days, water fun, scavenger hunts and so much more,” said Councilwoman Johnson. “With a variety of options available at six locations throughout the Town, this program offers parents a fun and affordable option for their children this summer.”
The Summer Recreation Program is available in the following formats:
