Saladino Announces Integrated Medical Foundation Blue Ribbon Run Walk for Prostate Cancer Slated for November 10th

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino and the Integrated Medical Foundation recently announced that the Town will host the 2019 Blue Ribbon Run/Walk for Prostate Cancer on Sunday, November 10th at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park, located at 7800 Jericho Turnpike, in Woodbury.  The 3.1 mile race will begin at 9:30 am, with funds raised throughout the event going towards the fight against prostate cancer. Supervisor Saladino stated, “The Blue Ribbon Run/Walk for Prostate Cancer is a fantastic event benefitting a worthy cause, and the Town is proud to host it again this year. Building awareness regarding the risks men face from prostate cancer is an important cause, and I am proud to partner with Integrated Medical Foundation to promote their education, outreach programs, services, and screening initiatives.” For runners wishing to register for the event, the fee to register is $25 for pre-registration and $30 on the day of the race, which will take place on Sunday, November 10, starting at 9:30 a.m. at Syosset-Woodbury Park. There will be awards for top male and female finishers in the open and masters categories, and medals will be awarded in each age category for top 3 finishers. Each registrant will be eligible for an exciting giveaway and those who have pre-paid can pick up their bib numbers on Saturday, November 9th at Runner’s Edge, located at 242 Main Street in Farmingdale.
