Saladino and Town Board Stand in Solidarity with Israel

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino joined with his colleagues on the Town Board in passing a special resolution to stand in solidarity with the State of Israel, and unequivocally condemn Hamas for its horrific terrorist attack. The adopted resolution recognizes Israel’s right of sovereignty and protection.

“We join the civilized world in denouncing Hamas’ brutal acts of terror and demand the safe return of all hostages. We pray for the safety of Town resident Omer Neutra of Plainview, who serves in the Israel Defense Forces and is being held captive in Gaza,” said Supervisor Saladino.

“We stand with the Jewish people and support the right for Israel to defend itself,” added Receiver of Taxes Jeffrey Pravato. The Town Board was proudly joined by Rabbi Deborah Bravo of MakomNY in Bethpage and Florence Roffman, Board Member of the American Jewish Committee-Long Island Chapter.
