The Town of Oyster Bay has been requested by PSEG to issue permits for the relocation of lines underground to better serve the residents of the Town. This work is being done in an effort to prevent outages during storms by avoiding tree limbs or debris from effecting PSEG lines. The Town wants residents to have as much advance notice as possible and prior to permits being approved, is posting information on its website detailing where permits were sought and where work is to be done. Impacted residents should have also received correspondence from PSEG.
