Grievances
Taxpayers have the right to file a grievance regarding their property’s assessed value. Grievances may be filed with the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission during the “grievance period,” occurring January 2nd to May 2nd (EXTENDED.) During the grievance period, you may examine the assessment rolls and obtain grievance applications Form AR1 at the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission, 240 Old Country Road, Mineola New York 11501, or call (516) 571-3214. Taxpayers may also file a grievance online.
