Seniors in the Town of Oyster Bay, age 60 and older, enjoy a wide variety of social and recreational programs provided by the Town and through independently sponsored senior citizen clubs.

SENIOR CITIZEN SERVICES

Activities within our clubs include bridge, line dancing, tai chi, yoga, exercise, bingo, painting and more. The Town provides specialists who hold classes at our Parks and Community Centers throughout convenient locations of the Town.

Senior Citizen Services coordinates day trips which include luncheons, holiday celebrations, theater trips, baseball games and seasonal outings.

Our Senior Fall Program runs daily during September and October and provides our Town Seniors the opportunity to enjoy a myriad of social and free activities at our various community parks and centers. The Fall Program features exercise, tai chi, yoga, line dancing, card playing, board games, special entertainment, a book club and social dancing to live music. The programs run simultaneously and take place at the Marjorie R. Post Community Center in Massapequa, North Massapequa Community Center, Bethpage Community Park, Syosset-Woodbury Community Center, the William P. Bennett Hicksville Community Center and the Hicksville Athletic Center.
