In December of each year, the Town’s Annual Holiday Concert is presented for three evening and one matinee performances.

This highly successful summer concert series presents three weekly concerts for six weeks in Oyster Bay! Some featured highlights from 2021 included The Marshall Tucker Band, Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot, Disco Unlimited and our dazzling fireworks show.

FESTIVALS
Fall Family Festival at Marjorie R. Post Community Park in Massapequa

A community favorite, this autumn event includes u-pick pumpkin patch, hayrides, refreshments, inflatables, games, family photo and much more! Families are encouraged to attend this event in costume and participate in the many photo opportunities in the park.
Drive-in Holiday Experience at Marjorie R. Post Community Park in Massapequa

Ring in the Season! Guests will enjoy festive lighting displays, a movie, winter sing-a-longs, giveaways, an appearance by visitors from both Arendelle and the North Pole and a walk-thru village.
Spring Festival at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park

Bringing the community together to kick off the spring season, at this event families will enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, games, family photo and more!
Art In The Park at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park & Beach in Oyster Bay

11 AM – 4 PM
Art in the Park will feature local artists and artisans. Hand-crafted goods will include ceramics, jewelry, paintings, photography, and more. This family-friendly event will also include live music, food trucks and art activities for kids.
WORKSHOP ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS
CAPA Workshops are held in the spring and fall of each year and offer a wide variety of cultural, artistic and self-improvement courses at nominal costs. The workshops are held at community centers throughout the Town. Call to request the CAPA Workshop brochure for a complete listing of courses and locations.

Classes will begin the week of September 11, 2023.
ART IN THE PARK
Local artists and artisans are invited to display and sell their hand-crafted goods at a special day of “Art in the Park,” at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park & Beach in Oyster Bay.
Participants must be 18 or older, and display and sell only their original pieces. No commercial or mass-produced items are permitted. Artists must supply their own 10×10 canopy and additional items required for their space. Additional details and associated costs are provided on the application.
Art in the Park is run by the Town’s Department of Community & Youth Services, Cultural and Performing Arts Division. The event focuses on hand-crafted goods, including ceramics, watercolors, glass, jewelry, wood, leather, sculpture and more.
