Councilman Labriola Announces Free Musical Performances at Local Libraries for December and January

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Steve Labriola announced that the Distinguished Artists Concert Series will continue through May 2023 with free performances at local libraries throughout the Town.

 

“The Distinguished Artists Concert Series provides free musical and dance programs for the enjoyment of our residents,” said Councilman Labriola. “I encourage residents to take advantage of these wonderful performances offered by the Town for free at local libraries.”

 

Scheduled performances for December and January include:

 

  • Rhonda Denet and the Silver Fox Songs Trio on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Hicksville Public Library – Performing “From Jazz to Soul: The Holiday Edition”.

 

  • Vincent Roccaro & His Jazz Trio on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Syosset Public Library – Iconic songs accompanied by some of the finest jazz musicians on the planet! Registration is free and required, visit: syosset.librarycalendar.com/events/month select the date of the concert and register. Registration starts November 20th.

 

  • Emily & Vincent on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library – Performing “Christmas on Broadway”.

 

  • Echoes of Sinatra on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Syosset Public Library – Performing the music of Frank Sinatra. Registration is free and required, visit: syosset.librarycalendar.com/events/month select the date of the concert and register. Registration starts December 18th.

 

  • Copperline on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library – Performing the music of James Taylor.
