Councilman Hand Announces Free Musical Performances at Local Libraries in February

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Tom Hand today announced that the Distinguished Artists Concert Series will host multiple performances throughout the month of February 2019 at local libraries throughout the Town.

“The Distinguished Artists Concert Series provides free musical and dance programs for the enjoyment of our residents,” said Councilman Hand. “I encourage residents to take advantage of these wonderful performances offered by the Town for free at local libraries.”

Scheduled performances for February 2019 include:

  • Vinny St. Marten & The Seeing Eye Dog Band on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 2pm in the Locust Valley Library – A Tribute to Ray Charles.
  • Sugar & Spice Soul Band on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 8pm in the Plainview- Old Bethpage Public Library – A Tribute to Motown and R&B.
  • Breakdown on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:30pm in the Farmingdale Public Library – A Tribute to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
  • Di Napoli on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 1pm in the Massapequa Public Library – Italian and American songs.
  • Rave On! on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 2pm in the Jericho Public Library – A Tribute to Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and the Legends of Rock n’ Roll.
