Get ready to sweat this spring! Oyster Bay Town Councilman Steve Labriola announces that registration is now open for the Town’s highly anticipated Co-Ed Fitness Classes at the Hicksville Athletic Center. Starting in April, these 10-week classes offer a fun way to stay fit and meet new people. Open to all residents 18 and older, the classes cover everything from cardio kickboxing to yoga and ballroom dancing.
“Our recreational programs provide a fun, energizing way for residents to stay active while forming new connections,” said Councilman Labriola. “Whether you’re into high-energy workouts like cardio kickboxing or prefer something more relaxing like yoga, there’s a class for everyone to enjoy!”
This spring, take your pick from a variety of exciting fitness options:
- Ballroom Dancing: Saturdays, 7pm–8pm, starting April 12
- Cardio Kickboxing: Thursdays, 8pm–9pm, starting April 10
- Pilates:
- Tone & Sculpt – Mondays, 8pm–9pm, starting April 7
- Intermediate – Thursdays, 7pm–8pm, starting April 17
- Yoga:
- Saturdays, 9am–10am, starting April 12
- Sundays, 8:45am–9:45am, starting April 6
- Tuesdays, 8pm–9pm, starting April 8
- Thursdays, 7am–8am, starting April 10
- Zumba:
- Mondays, 6:45pm–7:45pm, starting April 7
- Wednesdays, 7:30pm–8:30pm, starting April 9
Registration is easy—simply visit oysterbaytown.com/sports to sign up. Residents will need to upload proof of residency (tax or utility bill) and a valid ID (like a driver’s license). Non-residents may register at a slightly higher fee.
