Maier Announces Free Children’s Shows at Local Libraries for March 2020

Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Laura Maier today announced that the Town’s Children’s Magical Music & More program will continue its 2020 season with performances this March at local libraries throughout the Town.

 

Councilwoman Maier stated, “March’s Children’s Magical Music & More schedule features four performances at libraries across the Town. This program has proven to be an extremely popular monthly event throughout the year for parents. I encourage all families to come down to one of the scheduled free performances and join in on the fun, free entertainment for children of all ages around the Town of Oyster Bay!”

 

The scheduled performances for March 2020 include:

 

  • The Jester Jim Show on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 3:45 pm at the Plainedge Public Library- Jester Jim performs his amazing beatbox intro, as kids and adults alike are glued to his every move, as this is not your ordinary juggling show!

 

  • Ballet Long Island presents “Peter and the Wolf” on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:30 pm at the Locust Valley Public Library- This classic tale is presented as a ballet, complete with costumes, music, scenery, and everything else needed to give the audience the experience of live theater!

 

  • Rolie Polie Guacamole on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library- Rolie Polie Guacamole is a family-friendly band that plays original tunes and classic covers with vibrant harmonies and humor galore.

 

  • Keith Leaf – The Light Show on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Hicksville Public Library-  Keith Leaf’s amazing light-up variety show will delight audience members of every age, as this fun and energetic performance includes varied circus skills and juggling props – like balls, yo-yo’s and clubs. Prepare to come and be mesmerized!
