Oyster Bay Town Clerk Richard LaMarca announces the opening of a new walk-up window available for resident convenience at Town Hall North, located at 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay. With the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, most local governments have restricted in-person interactions at their facilities, and this new walk-up window offers residents a safe option for in-person services. Residents can visit the Clerk’s Office new window for assistance in a variety of tasks, including parking permit applications, birth and death certificate requests, and marriage licenses (by appointment only), among others. The walk-up window is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
“Since the COVID-19 public health crisis began, I am proud that my office has remained fully operational to best assist our residents. The well-being of residents and employees has remained the Town’s top priority throughout the pandemic, and that is why my office is offering a safe option to make in-person transactions while following all social distancing guidelines,” said Town Clerk LaMarca.
With COVID-19 still impacting the region, Town Clerk LaMarca offers residents free waterproof, vinyl ‘No Soliciting’ stickers to deter any potential door-to-door solicitors and peddlers. These ‘No Soliciting’ stickers allow homeowners to set clear boundaries with anyone approaching their house looking to do unwanted business. In addition, the Town Clerk’s Office also offers in-person passport services by appointment, at both his Town Hall North and Town Hall South locations.
