Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Laura Maier reminds residents interested in mooring their boats on beautiful north shore to contact the Town’s Department of Environmental Resources to obtain one of the 700 moorings offered just off the shore of the marina, located at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay.
“Our beautiful Town boasts water on both its north and south shores, making boating a popular activity for our residents,” said Councilwoman Maier. “Our pristine harbor has convenient moorings for boating enthusiasts who are looking to access the waters of Oyster Bay Harbor and beyond.”
Mooring permits are $50 for Town residents and $75 for non-residents. Permits are effective from April 1st through the end of the year. For more information, contact the Department of Environmental Resources at (516) 677-5811.
