Oyster Bay Town Councilman Lou Imbroto announced that the Department of Planning and Development has opened a new walk-up window to its Town Hall South location to safely assist residents with building permit applications. Residents can access the new space, available in the front parking lot at Town Hall South in Massapequa, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“Are you thinking about a new swimming pools, fence, solar panels, a generator or upgrading your home? Planning experts are available to assist you with various building procedures, including the permit process,” said Councilman Imbroto. “Our Town has ensured that services remain available to residents since the beginning of the pandemic, with our staff always being available even when our buildings have remained closed. We have worked to ease the permit process for residents, recently opening a new walk-up service at Town Hall North, and now at Town Hall South to allow for those looking to file their paperwork.”
The Town of Oyster Bay Department of Planning and Development’s new walk-up service is available at Town Hall South, located at 977 Hicksville Road in Massapequa (at the front of the building, north side), from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as well as at Town Hall North, located in the parking lot between 54 and 74 Audrey Avenue (near the elevator shaft) in Oyster Bay from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“This new walkup window allows residents to drop off their applications and speak with planning experts to assist in obtaining materials needed to process permits,” Councilman Imbroto added.
