Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Vicki Walsh today announced that the Town’s Children’s Magical Music & More program will continue its 2020 season with performances this February at local libraries throughout the Town.
Councilwoman Walsh stated, “The Town’s Children’s Magical Music & More is a much loved program for families that provides free entertainment for children of all ages around the Town of Oyster Bay. This program has proven to be an extremely popular monthly event throughout the year for parents. February’s schedule features three performances at libraries across the Town, and even features a specially scheduled performance during the week scheduled for winter recess for students from school. I encourage all families to come down to one of the scheduled free performances and join in on the fun!”
The scheduled performances for February 2020 include:
- Li Liu’s ‘Traditions of Chinese Acrobatics’ on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:30 pm at the Locust Valley Library- Li Liu’s one woman acrobatic performance will captivate you with her hand balancing, plate spinning, ribbon dancing, diabolo tossing and foot juggling, featuring audience participation! PLEASE NOTE: All are welcome to attend but this performance but online registration is required beforehand for each person planning to attend the performance. - Plaza Theatrical Productions Presents ‘The Rainbow Fish Musical’ on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Massapequa Public Library – Bar Harbour Branch- This energetic musical is based on the international bestseller book with its wonderful message of friendship and belonging.
- National Circus Project on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Bethpage Public Library- Mixing sensational circus skills with a bundle of comedy and variety routines!
