The former Sears property in Hicksville is the subject of proposed future development known as Seritage. The draft scope was issued on March 12th and was distributed to all involved agencies and interested parties. On April 10th, the Town elected to conduct a public scoping session at Town Hall at 7PM to receive public comments. Comments on the draft scope were accepted until April 27th.
A draft final scope was revised to include all substantive comments received by the Town. A revised final scope was submitted to the satisfaction of the Town on 6/1/2018. The Final Scope was distributed to involved agencies and interested parties on 6/5/2018. The Final Scope forms the basis for the future Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) which is currently being prepared by the applicant
