FEMA Flood Maps

The Town of Oyster Bay is a participating community in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), which enables property owners in designated Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHA) within the Town of Oyster Bay to purchase insurance protection against losses from flooding. NFIP is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) within the United States Department of Homeland Security. FEMA and its partners develop and provide flood hazard data and maps in support of NFIP.
