Supervisor Signs Order to Make Our Waters Safer This Holiday

Helping to make our waters safer this July 4th holiday, Supervisor Joseph Saladino recently signed his first Executive Order at the Theodore Roosevelt Marina. The order restricts the speed limit for boaters and personal watercraft operators in all of Oyster Bay Harbor to not exceed 5 mph on Tuesday, July 4, from 6 p.m. until midnight. The Town’s Bay Constable Division, together with the Nassau County Police Marine Bureau, as well as the shared services of several outstanding agencies, will work in cooperation to help keep our waters safe this holiday.
