Supervisor Saladino stated, “I’m thrilled to bring this free family-fun event to Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park and invite residents of all ages to come down and enjoy live music, marine and outdoor exhibits, great food, arts and crafts and other family-fun activities.”
For the last 10 years, Supervisor Saladino hosted a Marine and Outdoor Recreation Expo as a State Assemblyman. The Expo attracted thousands of visitors and this year, as Supervisor, Joseph Saladino is excited to expand upon earlier efforts by presenting Waterfront Festival in conjunction with the Annual Bluefish Tournament.
“The Bluefish Tournament is an all-day event and a must-do for avid fishermen,” Supervisor Saladino stated. “Following the fishing excursion, participants enjoy a tailgate party with hot dogs, beverages, snacks, raffles, awards and prizes, thanks to generous event sponsors.”
Registration for the Bluefish Tournament, which is held from 4:30am to 4pm, is currently underway and open to anglers of all ages at $35 for Town residents and $45 for non-residents. Registration is limited to the first 350 boats and early registration is advised.
