Saladino Announces Free Musical Performances at Local Libraries in January

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor
Joseph Saladino today announced that the Town’s Department of Community and
Youth Services will be offering free musical performances during the month of
January 2020 at local libraries throughout the Town to continue the 2019-2020
Distinguished Artists Concert Series, which will continue to run monthly
through May 2020.

 

“The Town’s Distinguished
Artists Concert Series has proven to be one of our most popular and enduring
programs, as residents flock from all across the Town to see the free musical
and dance performances scheduled each month for the enjoyment of our residents,”
said Supervisor Saladino. “I invite residents to take advantage of these four
wonderful performances offered by the Town for free at local libraries
throughout the month of January.”

    on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 2pm in the Hicksville Public
    Library.
  • Bay Big Band – Pop Goes the Bay
    Big Band
    on Sunday, January 12, 2020
    at 2:30pm at the Farmingdale Public Library
    .
  • Just 60’s – The Stories…The
    Songs!
    on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Massapequa
    Public Library.
  • The History of Rock & Roll – A Trip
    Down Memory Lane Featuring the Music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s
    onSunday, January 26, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Hicksville Public
    Library.
