Saladino Announces 2019 Summer Youth Hockey Registration
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino today announced that registration for the Town’s 2019 Summer Youth Ice Hockey Program and House League will take place on Monday, May 13th (6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.), Thursday, May 16th (6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.), Sunday, May 19th (8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), and Monday, May 20th (6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.) at the Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center, located at 1001 Stewart Avenue in Bethpage.
 
“The Town of Oyster Bay’s Youth Ice Hockey Program is one of the best games around, and features many respected coaches dedicated to teaching this outstanding sport to the many boys and girls enrolled in the program,” Supervisor Saladino said. “Children who attend the Town’s program get the unique opportunity to hone their skating and hockey skills as part of a program that has earned recognition by the National Hockey League for its high level of quality. So come down and register early to make sure you child has a spot in our nationally renowned program.”
 
Individuals interested in registering for the 2019 Summer Youth Ice Hockey Program must bring a copy of their birth certificate, proof of Town of Oyster Bay residency (tax or utility bill) as well as payment.  Check, money order, MasterCard or Visa will be accepted.  All registrants must bring these items, even if they have participated in the past.  A parent or legal guardian must be present at registration.
 
The program is held on Sunday mornings, and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Recreational and Instructional Program and House League is open to girls and boys ages 3-15. All participants must provide their own equipment, and should have some skating ability.
