In the continued efforts to deliver and improve important services for residents, Oyster Bay Town Councilman Lou Imbroto announced that the Town has increased and enhanced the free wireless internet access for residents and visitors at the Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center, located at Bethpage Community Park.  The free public network, which had previously been installed but was limited to only a portion of the facility, has been dramatically increased and is now available to patrons of the Ice Skating Center throughout the entirety of the facility.

 

Councilman Imbroto stated, “Parents who enjoy spending time at our Town’s renowned Bethpage Ice Skating Center with their children will now be able to enjoy WiFi from the comfort of their seats in the stands. Enhancing the WiFi capabilities of the Town’s Ice Skating Center will allow all of our wonderful patrons to share real-time photos with friends or even turn on a video for their toddlers.”

 

The enhanced and increased wireless network at the Town’s Ice Skating Center brings more connectivity to patrons of the Rink, helping to deliver and improve important services for our residents. Visitors seeking to log on must select the appropriate public network under available Wi-Fi networks on their smartphone or tablet, and then accept the standard terms and conditions.
