Councilman Pinto Offers Rabies Protection Brochure

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Joe Pinto announced that the Town has available to residents an informative brochure entitled Protecting Your Family Against Rabies.
“While not all raccoons test positive for rabies, it doesn’t mean that our communities are rabies-free,” Councilman Pinto explained. “As contact between wildlife, humans and pets increases during the summer, it is important that everyone be aware of how the disease is transmitted and safety precautions that should be taken.”
